SLR Foundation on a mission with a great vision
SLR Foundation has launched a comprehensive education program aimed at underprivileged children in the remote villages of Odisha.
The initiative focuses on providing quality education, nutritional support, and learning materials to children who previously had
limited access to formal schooling. Through our network of volunteer teachers and community learning centers, we have already
enrolled over 500 children across 15 villages in Koraput and Rayagada districts.
The program not only provides academic education but also focuses on holistic development through extracurricular activities,
digital literacy training, and life skills education. Many of these children are first-generation learners whose parents work
as daily wage laborers in agricultural fields or migrate to other states for work. The foundation has also implemented a midday
meal scheme that ensures each child receives at least one nutritious meal daily, addressing both educational and nutritional needs.
